As the auspicious festival of Janmashtami 2026 approaches, excitement is building for not only the traditional rituals and festivities but also a remarkable Drawing Competition that celebrates creativity. Organized by AISP, this event invites artists of all ages to unleash their imagination and express themselves through vibrant colors. Whether you are a budding artist or a trained professional, this is a wonderful opportunity to honor Janmashtami through artistic expression.

Topics

Group A: 3 - 5 years

Each participant will receive a coloring sheet based on these inspiring themes:

Awards

  • Only the First prize in each group will be awarded.
  • Each participant will receive a participation certificate and gift cards of a local food outlet.

Participation Rule

  • All participants must purchase tickets for Janmashtami 2026. – Register for the Drawing Competition by Friday, August 28th, 2026, at 11:55 PM CST.
  • Gather in the Commons Area of Sun Prairie West High School. No entry after the event begins at 2:00 PM and ends at 3:00 PM.
  • You will have 60 minutes to complete your artwork.
  • A shared set of basic colors will be provided; you’re encouraged to bring your own materials (colors, pencils, erasers, etc.).
  • Drawing sheets will be provided at the venue.

Disqualification Grounds

  • Parents may not assist their children; any participant receiving parental assistance will be disqualified.
  • Participants must compete in their designated age groups. Competing in a lower age group will result in disqualification.
  • Using pre-drawn drawings will lead to disqualification.

Judging

  • Judging will be based on creativity, relevance to the theme, and overall presentation.
  • Judges are impartial, and their decisions are final and cannot be contested.

Awards Distribution

  • ⁠All prizes will be awarded at the end of the event during the prize distribution ceremony.
  • Please ensure that your child’s name is registered correctly. Certificates will not be reissued for any errors in thename, except in the case of a clerical error.
  • Certificates will be distributed on the day of the event from designated desks. Further information will be provided before the event.

Expectations

  • Please follow the instructions of our volunteers throughout the event.
  • Respect the judges, who apply their knowledge and experience to judge fairly.
  • Accept winning and losing as part of the experience; handle disappointments gracefully, with parental support.
